A Little Bit Country, A Whole Lotta Glam

This is a fast week for me. Starting the week on Tuesday makes the workweek seem to fly by. Add on to that the fact that I leave on Thursday for Jackson Hole, WY for my grandpa's 80th birthday. So, I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row before I hop on a plane for the family reunion. 

In the meantime, I'm gaining western Wyoming inspiration from this editorial. I love the mix of western elements (hello cowboy boots!) with glamorous fall florals, radiant reds, smooth merlots, and eye-catching accessories. 

The country setting + the hazy lighting = the perfect backdrop for highlighting Bella Heathcote's styled looks.

Free Bird

On Monday I had lunch at a quaint little French market where I couldn't resist picking up a recent issue of Elle France. I instantly fell in love with this editorial because I think it represents the perfect balance of youthful rebellion, freedom, flirty femininity, and style. Model Camille Rowe sure does emulate a free spirit.

Golden Girls

Everywhere I look I see flashes of GOLD! From recent Olympic gold medals to the golden sunshine rays of summer to the runways of fall, gold is one hot hue. That said, I think you can tell why this glimmering Vogue UK editorial caught my eye and further fueled my gold inspiration.

Shore Thing

It is another beautiful, sunny day in Santa Monica. I'm out and about all day today enjoy the weather and my gorgeous city. Living so close to the shore always has me squirming to get to the beach and today is no exception.
