It was another wonderful weekend of going out in Venice, hunting through the Rose Bowl Flee Market, shopping, and spending time with friends and my beau. The cherry on top of the whole weekend was spending today at the beach swimming, sunning, and playing beach volleyball. What was the highlight of your weekend?

What is on my mind today? Yup, you guessed it... the beach! When the weekend rolls around I can't seem to wrap my brain around anything other than the sun, sand, and surf. Today, I'm craving some tousled locks. Nothing screams summer more than salty skin and wavy hair.

Thursday Organization

I get excited to pick up Vogue, Elle, Nylon, and C Magazine (to name a few) every month to catch up on the world of fashion and beauty. Not So Long Distance

It is such a blessing to not be in a long distance relationship anymore. While they say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, I sure do appreciate living in the same city as my beau. This Desert Life

I'm jumping on a plane to Phoenix today for a quick trip to see my sister who is returning from a summer in London. I'm really looking forward to spending a few days with my family (in a much greener desert than pictured below!).

More Lepore!

Happy August 1st loves! 

I always think of August as the last month of summer because the second half of the month is spent in school. However, lately I've realized that summer really does stretch all the way into September (especially in Los Angeles). My recent epiphany has inspired me to share Nanette Lepore's highlighter-hued Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection with you all. 

I hope the collection comes as a breath of fresh air for anyone who is feeling the end of summer blues with today's date.
