San Francisco + Highlights

And we're off! See you on Monday loves after I return from up north!

On the San Francisco agenda: going out at the marina triangle bars, football celebrations, birthday parties, hotel dance parties, & yummy eats & drinks.

Some places on my San francisco radar to eat & drink:

Katy Perry On W Magazine + Boulder, CO + Highlights

Wow, I don't know where this week went. I spent most of the week with family so I became extra busy!

I'm a lucky girl today though because I'm heading off to Boulder, CO to reunite with my best college friends. I currently can't sit still because I'm SO excited.

Our weekend is jam packed with plans and meals at some of our favorite Boulder eats - tapas and sangria at The Med, brunch at Brasserie Ten Ten, and beer & BBQ at West End Tavern. For me, the best part of the weekend will be catching up and laughing with my best girlfriends (already dreading the friend hangover to come next week!).

Thanks to Prism, we will be jamming to Katy Perry's new album all weekend. She seriously kicks ass in her new W Magazine cover shoot.

I See You Weekend

I see you weekend... you're so close! Wishing I could fast forward to tomorrow evening...

However, I'm pretending the weekend is starting a day early by getting it going tonight with my best girl friends at supper club at Hinoki & the Bird. Happy Thursday!

I'll Have A Blended Margarita Mojito Please!

Wednesday was national tequila day... I had one margarita to "celebrate" the day when I ate out at Oscar's Cerveteca in Venice with my guy but now that it's the weekend I think it's time to have a few more margs, what do you think!?

I have just the recipe for you: a blended margarita mojito!

Ingredients (makes two margaritas):
  • 1/4 cup of frozen limeade
  • 1/4 cup of Triple Sec
  • 1/2 cup of tequila
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 lime
  • 10 fresh mint leaves

Directions:
  • Put all ingredients into a blender
  • blend until ice chunks are completely blended
  • Serve in a glass with a salted rim
  • Garnish with more mint and a lime wedge

Enjoy!

Eat Like The Locals: Phoenix

I'm spending a few days in Phoenix so I thought I'd profile a few of my favorite spots to eat. If you live in Phoenix then you know how great these restaurants are. However, if you are from elsewhere then remember these spots in order to eat like a local in Phoenix!

1. The Herb Box. Try: the cocktails.

2. Petite Maison. Try: the escargots.

3. Arcadia Farms Cafe. Try: the pesto grilled shrimp salad.

4. Rice Paper Eatery. Try: the different types of fresh and crispy spring rolls.

5. La Grande Orange Grocery. Try: the commuter sandwich.

6. Postino Wine Cafe. Try: the bruschetta.

7. Vincent's Farmers Market. Try: the omelets.

8. Geisha A Go Go. Try: the dessert roll.

9. True Food Kitchen. Try: the edamame dumplings.

10. Hillstone. Try: the grilled chicken salad.
