Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! My day consists of a family hike, lots of board games and backgammon, a couple hours in the kitchen, and too much eating. I have so much to be thankful for this year it is hard to know where to begin. I hope everyone feels a similar sentiment this Thanksgiving.

I'm also stirring up this Glitter Guide recommended pumpkin pie sparkling sgroppino cocktail. It sure sounds yummy!

Have a beautiful family-filled holiday!

A Case Of The Mondays

A new week has begun and while I have a busy yet fun week ahead of me, I definitely understand being shaken by the Mondays. So, I have a little pick-me-up for those of you who are a bit down or sluggish today... can you say yummy spring cocktails!? Make this Monday count and you'll be that much happier when happy hour rolls around. Cheers to drinking in style and enjoying hours of sunlight with your girlfriends.

Ginger Sour Martini
3 ounces Sky Infused Ginger vodka
1 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoon real maple syrup
2 eggs whites, beaten
1/2 teaspoon powder sugar
Add the Vodka, lemon juice and maple syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for about 10 seconds and strain into a martini glass. Beat eggs whites on high, add in powder sugar and keep whipping. Scoop egg white foam on top of the martini and garnish with a dash of lemon zest.

Honey-Citrus Cocktail
4 ounces Sky Infused Dragon Fruit vodka
2 teaspoons honey
4 ounces fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
2 ounces fresh squeezed orange juice
sugar rim
Add the honey, vodka, grapefruit juice and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 10 seconds and set aside. Wet the rim of the goblet with an orange or grapefruit wedge. Dip the glass, upside down, in a plate of sugar to coat the entire rim evenly. Pour the cocktail into the goblet and add ice. Garnish with a fresh flower and enjoy!

St. Germain Champagne
6 ounces Champagne
1 ounce St-Germain Elderflower Liquor
Pour the Champagne into a Champagne flute. Add the St-Germain into the Champagne to give it a classic, flower essences. Garnish with a small flower that fits perfectly into the glass. It’s an easy and elegant way to spruce up a glass of Champagne.
