Take Me To The Mountains

We've almost made it, almost made it to the holidays. Today is my last day of work and school before I am free for two weeks. I'll be making a quick pit stop in Phoenix before jetting up to Jackson Hole for Christmas and then to Vail for New Year's Eve. Let the mountain festivities begin! Eggnog and hot toddy sipping, It's A Wonderful Life watching, bundling up by fires, gift giving, and skiing... take me to the mountains!

Rattan Furniture

My roommate and I are hunting for outdoor furniture so we can enjoy our patio this summer. On the top of my list: white wicker furniture and rattan furniture. I love the shabby chic, casual feel of rattan furniture and the way rattan pieces can have an island feel, a rustic feel, or a California cool feel. Rattan furniture also looks beautiful with different colored and patterned cushions. I like the idea of switching out cushions every once in awhile to keep patios looking fresh and inspired. So I ask, white wicker furniture or rattan furniture?

Falling For Fall

Yesterday was the first day I felt like fall was creeping in. I sure do hope the cool and crisp weather sticks around because I can't wait to start wearing my boots and cozy sweaters.

My style inspiration isn't just coming from the cooler temperatures and my closet but also from my love of this fall 2012 Current/Elliott lookbook. The authentic and sweet looks are totally satisfying my appetite for fall! How much do you want to sneak away on a camping trip right now? I'm thinking the redwoods of Northern California or the mountains of Colorado... who is with me!?

Picnic Pick-Me-Up

After a long weekend full of fun and all things green, I can't think of a better way to spend today than by having a relaxing picnic with the one I love.
