Lauren Conrad's Office + Highlights

I was more than happy to see Lauren Conrad's Paper Crown office redesign on Domaine for a couple reasons. First, I adore Lauren Conrad, her career, and her LaurenConrad.com team. Secondly, I was interning at Who What Wear when they launched Domaine so I saw a lot of behind the scenes prep for the website, making it even more of a must read for me.

Domaine did a wonderful job of bringing Lauren's office to life by making it a streamlined, functional, and youthful haven speckled with vintage elements. What do you think?

P.S. Read below for some highlights from the week.

Rachel Bilson's Los Angeles Home

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have created quite the love nest. Their aesthetic is very different from mine but I can definitely pull bits of inspiration from their eclectic and colorful space. Now, can they just get married already!?

Tory Burch's New Home Collection: Nostalgia At Its Best

Tory Burch's new home collection is inspired by her childhood and her family. It is a new venture for Tory's ever expanding brand and one I think she will find success with.

Tory on her new home collection:

Where did the concept for the collection originate?

"The pieces are mainly inspired by my parents. The abstract monogram on the coasters is an homage to my father. We also have great entertaining pieces like a lucite tray, and ice bucket and coasters - a nod to my mother a consummate hostess. The needlepoint pillows are inspired by ones my parents made - we had them in many rooms around our house growing up."

PLUS! I have the best Thursday pick me up for you... J.Crew released over 300 new arrivals for winter yesterday. I started having heart palpitations when I saw all the new pieces because I don't know how my wallet will handle it. What do you think about the new winter arrivals? Shop here!

Diptyque Do Over: Reusing Your Diptyque Candle Jars

Hate when your candle wick runs out all the way to the end? Do you throw away your candle jar or reuse it? If you are burning a Diptyque candle then I've got a few DIY inspirations for you. The remaining candle jars serve as perfect vases for flowers, holders for odds and ends on your vanity or desk, and the chicest place to put your makeup brushes.

It's double the trouble when you can have your cake and eat it too - aka burn your candle then use the remaining jar. Get your Diptyque candle here. What's your favorite scent?

Diane Von Furstenberg's Manhattan Penthouse

Upon some glances, Diane von Furstenberg's Manhattan penthouse looks like a fashionable, eclectic, bohemian home but from other views it looks more like a livable piece of art. Located on top of her flagship store/design studio and next to New York City's High Line, the penthouse boasts awe-inspiring views. Her creativity and signature look oozes out of every single nook and cranny of her home. It is definitely fit for the fashion queen that she is. What do you think?

Inside Heidi Merrick's Los Angeles Home

Heidi Merrick's home radiates charm and creativity. The LA based fashion designer furnished and tied together her home with a mix of antiques, pops of color, modern twists, mismatched rugs, and gold accents to give her home an unique aesthetic appeal. Love, love, love!
