On Display

I am beside myself over these lovely photographs of handsomely displayed jewels.

They are making me rethink some of my jewelry boxes.

Dying Over DVF

After spending a few cold days in Aspen, CO this past weekend I am left dreaming of Diane Von Furstenberg's Spring 2012 runway looks.

She describes the collection as being inspired by the "hope, light, and optimism" of modern Africa. The collection is appropriately called "Beginnings."

Here is a peak at some of my favorites of the collection:

Never Too Old For A Sleepover

After having a weekend of fabulously fun sleepovers with my best girlfriends, I am exhausted!

But guess what? I didn't feel the slightest bit too old for the youthful activity!

Cheers to friends, youth, sleepovers, and now relaxing!

Ray of Sunshine

I can't get enough of these not-so-mellow-yellow looks. It seems that everywhere I turn yellow is popping up to brighten my day!

Forget Paris...

Forget Paris... for Normandy. This hundreds of years old Normandy home has an alluring quality that makes me want to hop, skip, and jump on over to France so I can indulge myself in the beautifully plush decor. The leopard silk velvet settee against the blue-grey walls is simply divine. The polished yet relaxed home offers so much with its pink roses, carved wood furniture, gilded picture frames, fleur-de-lis details, lush upholstery, and romantic chandeliers. Ahhhhh, I die.

Pastel + Black

This Vogue Russia spread captures how I feel about this time of year. It is still the chilly winter (black) but I want to feel the balmy warmth of spring (pastel). That is why I am embracing the purely perfect pastel colors of this spread along with the sprinkling of basic black details. Trust me. Illuminate your wardrobe with some lusciously lovely light pastels. You won't regret it.

Midnight In Paris

I just watched Midnight in Paris again (a personal favorite) and then I stumbled upon this photograph of Carey Mulligan at the National Board of Review Awards Gala in New York City.

I'm crazy about the slinky fringe, reminiscent of 1920s Pairs, on Mulligan. What is your take on the look?

Happy Parisian Sunday!
