Lauren Conrad's Office + Highlights

I was more than happy to see Lauren Conrad's Paper Crown office redesign on Domaine for a couple reasons. First, I adore Lauren Conrad, her career, and her LaurenConrad.com team. Secondly, I was interning at Who What Wear when they launched Domaine so I saw a lot of behind the scenes prep for the website, making it even more of a must read for me.

Domaine did a wonderful job of bringing Lauren's office to life by making it a streamlined, functional, and youthful haven speckled with vintage elements. What do you think?

P.S. Read below for some highlights from the week.

Business In The Front, Party In The Back

Hello loves! I am so sorry I have been so MIA lately. I've been traveling like crazy the past two weeks to Boulder, Phoenix, and Charleston. When I've actually been home in Los Angeles, I've been busy with work (oh the horror!). What a whirlwind it has been or as I like to think of it, business in the front and a party in the back!

Monday, Monday

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you are all on your (Chanel tipped) toes and ready to begin a new workweek.

P.S. Congratulations to my sister for getting a job at Kate Spade's newest store in Charleston!

2000 Leagues Under The Sea

The last few months have been consumed with job interviews and with starting new jobs for many of my friends (and me!). The question of what to wear to such interviews and the always important first day of work crosses every girl's mind more than once. After all, first impressions are often established based on one's appearance. So take pride in your appearance!

Luckily, I have the perfect solution for this "what to wear" dilemma. Enter Karen Walker's SS12/13 Collection. She titled the collection 'Sea Monsters' because she got her inspiration from the classic sci-fi novel 2000 Leagues Under the Sea. What do you think of the ruffles, bows, high-necks, paisley prints, and glittering brocades? I sure am onboard (even under the sea)!

Knit Night

Getting down to business tonight as I hunker down in a comfy knit sweater to work on one of my many final papers. Go girl, go!
