Sea Island: Secretly Tropical

Unless you've been there, you probably don't know how tropical the coast of Georgia is. I've been lucky enough to spend a great amount of time up and down the Georgia coast so I know how humid, balmy, and tropical the beach towns can be (and how genuine the people in them are!). However, Sea Island isn't the only place this editorial reminds me of... it also makes me reminiscent of my family trip to the Florida Keys last Christmas, so I just had to share! 

The floral fashion featured in this editorial is right up my alley too. So, all in all, these gorgeous photographs make me even more ready for my trip to Sea Island (and then Charleston) tomorrow!

I have always been an admirer of Charlize Theron's career, style, and love life (She dated Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins who wrote much of 3eb's third album about their breakup).

It should come as no surprise then that I am anxiously awaiting the release of the South African's new film, Young Adult. She plays a writer of young adult literature who returns to her hometown in hopes of winning back her high school sweetheart.

Theron embraced the project because she wanted to work with the film's director, Jason Reitman. Her excitement was warranted considering Reitman's previous projects include: Thank You for Smoking, Juno, and Up in the Air.

Marie Claire has labeled the film a "Hilarious dramedy"... sounds promising!
