A Worldly Journey With Essie Spring Nail Polish

I never need an excuse to get a new nail polish but if I did springtime would be the perfect one. Being a travel enthusiast, Essie Weingarten, founder of Essie, created six new colors that represent different cities around the world including Paris and London. Who isn't wanderlusting right now!?

Two of my favorite shades that bring a surprise to spring: Avenue Maintain for Paris and Bond with Whomever for London. Take me back to Europe!

Spanish Queen

I'm back from my trip to Paris, Barcelona, and Madrid - my what a trip it was! I spent the majority of my trip in Barcelona enjoying endless tapas, everything Gaudì, and quality time with my mom and sister. I'm so grateful to have been able to take such an amazing trip!

Here is a little Spanish inspiration for your Monday - Lana Del Rey looking the part of an old Hollywood Spanish screen siren.

Packing For Paris & Barcelona

I'm finishing up my packing for Paris and Barcelona as I leave tomorrow! Packing is always a drag but I'm using these Paris Fashion Week street style snapshots (although they are late, now seemed like an appropriate time to post them!) to get me inspired.

Paris Is Always A Good Idea

I just booked my flights to Europe to visit my sister in Barcelona. En route to Barcelona, I'm making a weekend pit stop in Paris. My heart is already filled with joy and eagerness...

Adieu: Paris Fashion Week

With Paris Fashion Week over, it is time to bid adieu to another amazing month of fashion. Here is one last glimpse at the street style that took place during this whirlwind month. What better place to say goodbye in than the City of Light!?

"Coco" Color Palette

Karl Lagerfeld outdid himself this year with Chanel's Fall 2012 Haute Couture Show in Paris's Grand Palais. The garden party featured white wicker chairs, gardenias, and macaroons... ahhh swoon.

I felt like I was being swept off my feet when my eyes scanned the "new vintage" themed collection composed of classic pieces with modern twists (i.e. the tweed jacket). I found the collection complete on account of the classically Coco color palette and the stunningly intricate details. Are you dying over this collection as much as I am?!

Haute Stuff

Twice-a-year models grace the runways of Paris's Haute Couture Shows. I think many of Paris's Haute Couture Shows are the most fun and daring shows of the year and they always exude grandeur and magnificence. While I am swooning over the runways this season, I am also stunned by the street style being captured by photographers and bloggers in Paris.

Stay tuned for a post featuring a Paris haute couture runway show!

So Twin.

So twin out in Paris. What do you think, is it acceptable for girlfriends to match for a day of shopping and lunching? My opinion: why not?!

Happy matching-knits Monday!

Forget Paris...

Forget Paris... for Normandy. This hundreds of years old Normandy home has an alluring quality that makes me want to hop, skip, and jump on over to France so I can indulge myself in the beautifully plush decor. The leopard silk velvet settee against the blue-grey walls is simply divine. The polished yet relaxed home offers so much with its pink roses, carved wood furniture, gilded picture frames, fleur-de-lis details, lush upholstery, and romantic chandeliers. Ahhhhh, I die.
