If you loved what you saw of Thakoon Panichgul’s Spring/Summer 2012 runway collection then you will jump out of your chair to learn that NARS has paired with Thakoon for a limited edition six-shade nail collection. 

The colors were inspired by India's spice markets and annual Holi festival to bring to life bold new nail choices. 

Thakoon explains, "Once they (NARS) saw the color board for Spring, it just made so much sense that we could be doing a nail project together."

The designer's favorite shade? The cyan-blue-hued 'Koliary.' "It's so fresh and unexpected."

Paint the Town

Today I bought a new gold glitter nail polish by FACE called "Toast of Town." It was love at first sight when I saw the festive holiday color. Needless to say the gold glitter is getting me very excited for New Years! Go crazy this New Year's Eve and paint your nails a glittery hue before you hit the town.

Are you looking forward to the new year? If your answer is no don't worry I have just the thing to get you excited... in January Chanel is releasing three new nail polish colors for spring! They are appropriately named April, May, and June. I am partial to May as I am a May baby. Which is your favorite April's reddish fuchsia, May's rose pink, or June's tangerine?

P.S. Have you seen Chanel's pre-fall collection, called "Chanel Paris-Bombay"? If not, I recommend you do. Most of the models wore a opalescent white nail polish, but the word on the street is that this color may never be produced.
