An Affair To Remember

One of my absolute best friends and soul mates is getting married in just over a month! With the bachelorette party coming up this weekend and showers, parties, brunches, the rehearsal dinner, and of course the wedding day itself approaching, I'm getting more and more excited with each passing day. Being a bridesmaid in the wedding is the greatest honor a friend has given me. I get goosebumps when I think about how beautiful and full of love her special day will be. For now though, I'm getting ready to put on my party hat this weekend in Vegas with all the girls!

Not Enough Cooks In The Kitchen

Summer is the time of year I feel the most inspired, excited, and eager to try new things. This evening I'm feeling inspired in the kitchen as I try to whip up a new recipe. Before I rolled up my sleeves in the kitchen, I perused some of the cooking blogs I frequent. Here, I decided to share a few with you in case you are in need of a new food guru or two! Bon appetit!

P.S. check out my food board on pinterest for more!

Me, Myself, & I

As I jump into a new week I am focusing on myself. Family and friends will always be by your side but the person who will never leave you is yourself. It is important to not neglect your character or your personality. After all, it is a huge component of what makes you you.

There are always things about myself that I am proud of but there are also always aspects of myself that I can work on. That is how it should be for no one is perfect. This week I am dedicating myself to listening and not just hearing. The problem of being distracted and letting something go in one ear and out the other plagues us all at times and I never want it to become engrained in my character.

Here's to listening to (not hearing) yourself and everyone around you. Happy motivated Monday!
