Kate Bosworth Says I Do

Kate Bosworth said I do this past weekend to her now husband, Michael Polish. The couple exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony in Montana "overlooking acres of rolling hills, streams, mountains and wildflowers, late on a golden afternoon." The couple worked with Martha Stewart Weddings to help plan the special day. A spokesperson for Martha Stewart Weddings described the newlyweds with these gorgeous words, "Their love for each other... well, it's infectious."

Meg Ryan's Megawatt Beach House

Part of my family goes to Martha's Vineyard every summer for an extended stay so this celebrity home caught my eye for two reasons: 1) I've been thinking about how lovely it would be to be on the Vineyard and 2) I worship Meg Ryan films. 

So, I ask you to lay your eyes on Meg Ryan's beach house on Martha's Vineyard. I love the crisp clean lines of the house, the predominately white color palette, the ceiling beams, and the ever-present natural light. My favorite rooms are the two bedrooms and the bathroom; although, I do adore the vintage metal "flowers" sign in the dining room. What's your favorite part of the house?

Wedding Bells

My life always seems to be crazy in the summer and this year is no exception. The long 4th of July weekend was amazing. I spent it up and down the coast of Southern California with family and friends. I've hardly had any time at home this week before I jet off to Colorado today for my best friend's wedding. I'm scrambling to pack last minute things to get ready for what I know will be one of the best weekends ever. 

To get me in the wedding spirit (not hard to do!), I've been musing over the images from this beautiful wedding on the Amalfi Coast. The bride's dress and jewels are drop dead gorgeous and WOW what a cake! The floral details on the bride's dress and veil are so intricately stunning that I'm saving pictures of both for inspiration. I'm off to the airport... Cheers loves!

An Affair To Remember

One of my absolute best friends and soul mates is getting married in just over a month! With the bachelorette party coming up this weekend and showers, parties, brunches, the rehearsal dinner, and of course the wedding day itself approaching, I'm getting more and more excited with each passing day. Being a bridesmaid in the wedding is the greatest honor a friend has given me. I get goosebumps when I think about how beautiful and full of love her special day will be. For now though, I'm getting ready to put on my party hat this weekend in Vegas with all the girls!

White On White

Recently, I've been toying with the idea of doing outfit posts; I decided there is no time like the present! We shall see how it goes... 

Memorial Day has officially come and gone so I'm no longer breaking the "don't wear white before Memorial Day" rule in the white on white outfit I wore out to dinner (Central Bistro - delish!) in Phoenix. To liven up my all white ensemble, I mixed in a collection of bracelets along with accessorizes that stood out against the white. This is a good general rule of thumb when working with whites.

P.S. I'm going on the record here as saying that I don't believe or follow the "no white before Memorial Day" rule!
