The September Issue: Vogue With Jennifer Lawrence

September issues are upon us! I'm already preparing myself to have way too much beach reading to keep up with. 

The first glossy I'm (obviously) picking up is Vogue. In my opinion, Vogue's cover girl choice is spot on. I can't get enough of superstar Jennifer Lawrence and I'm dying to see Catching Fire and American Hustle later this year. You. Go. Girl.

Covetable Coffee Table Books

The quickest way to freshen up a living space, a corner of a room, or a bedside table is to pick up a new coffee table book. Coffee table books complete any and every living space and are, in my opinion, one of the most interesting collections to have. My collection is complete with coffee table books about fashion, photography, art, interior design, architecture, cooking, travel, and iconic figures. I am always growing my collection (I just snatched up Great Houses of the South & 100 Unforgettable Dresses) and expanding it to flow along with my evolving taste. Below are a few of the coffee table books I'm currently coveting... I must complete my Gypset set (I already have Gypset Style)!

P.S. a coffee table book hunting hint: if you see a book in a store you must have, first check the Amazon price because it is usually cheaper!

Book Worm

All I want to do today is listen to the rain fall outside my window and snuggle up in my cozy bed with my book (The Paris Wife). I am a firm believer that everyone needs to take a "me" day every once in a while on a rainy day like today!

Room of the Week

I am completely in love with this exquisite fireplace. The traditional red brick paired with the beautifully painted wall of flowers and vines makes this space the perfect combination of masculine and feminine. I am so curious as to what is displayed in the frame barely visible in this photograph above the fireplace. It is such an enchanting little space that I'd love to place my Christmas tree next to it and snuggle up by the fire with a book and a cup of coco similar to the woman pictured.
